About Me

As the founder and canvas designer of Kae Blake Designs, April Blakely has been a needlepoint addict for over 40 years. She discovered cross stitch as a teen and spent many years counting stitches. Her transition to needlepoint was a bit slower, but welcomed for its complexity of design and rich variety of fibers found with today’s canvas choices.

Design is a new endeavor that April, but one she welcomed as an opportunity to stretch her imagination and artistry. Kae Blake Designs is the product of that creativity, and her desire to share those designs with you.
